Reading Audible book issue on multiple Echo's
« on: July 15, 2016, 12:04:47 pm »
After getting to a certain chapter and certain location within the chapter, I receive the following error
on both Amazon Echo devices.

Echo support sent me to Audible support who in turn said contact Echo support.

Anybody else come across this issue.?

If I play the book on the Audible App on my tablet all is well.

is it happening at the exact same spot?  are you able to forward past it?

I can forward past the spot, but then a few seconds later I get the same fault.

Got out an old iPod Touch and my mom finished the book with some headphones.

She's 90 and blind so I had to run it for her. She really loves her two Echos, but is lost when they don't work.

strange since it seems to work on other devices.  maybe try to find an audio book forum and see what they say.  I am at a complete loss as to what is going on.

Did you ever figure this out?  My blind elderly mother is having exactly the same problem.

So far, I've been able to skip from the PC Alexa app to Echo to Dot and back with no problems of continuity. Does it happen with different books or always the same one?
