When I set a new "Reminder" Alexa activates Roku &Smart Portable A/C unit

When I tell Alexa in my living room to "Set a Reminder" when she sets it my Roku is activated and the Smart Portable A/C, which is turned OFF, is switched ON. (This is the room the Roku and A/C, that are affected, are in and both are part of the living room Roku's group.) It does not do these when it performs the reminder, only when being set.

Why would just telling Alexa to set a reminder for i.e. 8 PM do either of the above?

How to stop those actions?

3 Echo Dots (4th generation).
