Edited a routine I’ve been using for over a year and all of a sudden I’m getting “Sorry, I don’t see that trigger phrase.”.

So I deleted the routine, gave it a different name and rebuilt it and I’m getting the same error message.  Yet the routine executes properly if I trigger it directly from the app on my iPad or my Samsung Android tablet without using voice.

All my other routines seem to be OK.

Any ideas on what’s happening?

Did you wait a few minutes before trying your routine by voice?

Amazon has stated in the past that any routine might not be available immediately by voice. You can activate it using the play button in the Alexa app immediately but voice control sometimes take a few minutes to as long as 15+ mins.

It not only took a wait, but about an hour later, the device I was using (8” Show) got a software update.

So, all is well.  First time I’ve had a routine not be available within a minute or two at the most.
