Can't add my wife's contact to Echo Show
« on: December 27, 2020, 11:23:37 am »
We just purchased an Echo Show 3 weeks ago. I've been trying to add my wife as one of the contacts so she can drop in on the Echo Show. Whenever I add her card, it shows this in the "People who can drop in" settings.

However, her name is Kathy. I don't understand why it's showing "Cell Phone's Home" Any ideas. I was able to add another friend across the country with no problem.

Thanks for any insight you might have. This has been baffling me for 3 weeks.

Probably at some point in time, your wife's phone number was given the name Cell Phone's Home.

The good news is you can change and edit contact names.
See this article for instructions:

If you open the alexa phone app the contact can be edited in there
