Routine controlling another routine
« on: September 27, 2020, 07:33:10 pm »
Hi folks.
First of all, sorry for my bad english. This is not my main language.
So, I'm trying to create a routine that could enable or disable a second one. Can anyone tell me if that is possible?
Let me explain:
I have some Sonoff devices that switches on/off some decorative LED lights on my living room. I have created two routines: "SUNSET", that turn on the lights at sunset, and "MIDNIGHT", to turn off the lights at midnight.
The fact is, I'm often travel to another places and spent 2 or more days out. So, naturally, I don't want to lights get on when I'm away.
I'm trying to create a routine that could disable the "sunset" routine speaking "Alexa, I will be away" (this way the sunset routine will not be active and the lights will not turn on), and a routine that enables "sunset" again when I got back and say "Alexa, I'm back".
Can someone help me?
