Echo Works Fine After Activating Via PC But Absent
« on: April 23, 2016, 11:45:42 pm »
Installed Echo via my PC and it works great. But I can't access "Home" because there is no icon and my PC can't find it anywhere. However, when I go to http://alexa.amazon.com, all of my info is there--To Do List, Shopping List, History, etc. On the other hand, I've also paired it with my Android phone and there are no problems there. I have Windows 10, and Google Chrome, which doesn't have Favorites allowing me to create a desktop icon. Any suggestions?

Can't you just create a shortcut for your PC to alexa.amazon.com to do what you want to do?

  • In your Chrome browser go to http://alexa.amazon.com.
  • Open the Chrome menu in the upper-right hand corner of the window, directly under the red "x" that closes the window.
  • When the menu opens, select the "More tools" sub-menu.
  • From there, select the "Add to desktop..." option.
  • Click the "Add" button on the dialog box that pops up.

There should now be a shortcut to http://alexa.amazon.com on your desktop.
