Bluetooth distribution

I have 2 Alexa devices that are in different (overlapping) parts of my house. They are each blue toothed to different stereos.
When I play a radio station on both of them there is a several second difference between the 2. I would like them to play at the same time. How do I achieve this?
I think I need to buy a Bluetooth transmitter and hard wire that to one of the Alexa devices then make a blue tooth connection to both stereos.
Will this work? Is there a better way?
