Volume seems lower . . .

I traded my defective Dot in for an Echo Gen2 before Christmas (when everything Echo worked like a charm) and for quite some time I have noticed that her volume was loud quite a bit louder than the Dot. I have had to change levels in the Routines and when I verbally set them. The other day she automatically connected to a Bluetooth receiver and I had a heck of a time getting it disconnected and to stay disconnected. After that now every time I call on her when she's set at the level I usually use her at, can barely hear her. And at really loud levels, it sound just fine, where before she would distort. The Dot was level 5, level 4 is loud enough on the Echo, now it's hard to hear.

Can the audio output stage be damaged from the "Bluetooth Incident"?

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
