Difference between "My routines" and "Featured"
« on: February 26, 2019, 08:52:09 pm »
Hi, can't figure out what's the difference between the two types of routines. When I create a "Featured" routine, it moves to the "My routines" so why have a "Featured" routines there in the first place? Can anyone shed a light?

Thanks.

A featured routine is Amazon's way of suggesting for you to try that routine. That's all. Nothing more.

So it's Amazon "pushing" some routines to my account? I doubt I've seen anything there. Mind you, my account is set to French Canada so that could be why... Have you seen routines in that tab yourself? If so, mind sharing what they were for?

In my Alexa app, it shows a "good night" routine in the featured routines screen. It's not enabled. But if I go in to look at it, the routine includes several items that turns off all of my light switches. I suppose it's kind of an example to show me what routines can do. If I enable it, then it gets moved to the my routines screen.
