Can one Echo be in Multiple Music Groups?
« on: December 10, 2018, 11:53:01 am »
I can't seem to be able to do this.  I have 10 Echos in the house.  I have a Group  named "Everywhere" which should be self-explanatory.  I'd LIKE to have a "First Floor" group, a "Second Floor", etc.  Soft Jazz on the second floor, Hard Rock on the first.  Comment?

I have not found a way to do this encourage Amazon to find a way.  There are many times like you when the group will change.

Time will tell...

I have been able to do this for a while now. Perhaps update your app?

For what it's worth, I couldn't create an 'everywhere' group by adding 'upstairs' to my existing 2 dot 'downstairs' group using alexa.amazon.com on my Windows browser.  I had no trouble doing it on my Android Alexa app.  Go figure.

I don't know your exact set up and what kind of Amazon Music account you have but it could be the issue is trying to play multiple streams at the same time.

the browser is quite limited on a lot of alexa features.  For most changes it is best to use the app, less frustrating  :-)
