Two different echos in different homes connect

Good Day,

I would like to know if my echo device (I'm in NYC) and my mom's echo device (she's in Long Island) can connect at all.  For example, if I create a blueprint skill and I want to send to my mom's echo device so she can hear it, is that possible?

Dot's on the same account can call and drop in on each other as long as they are on the internet.

Two on the same account can drop in no matter where they are located, just make sure dropin is enabled on the device. Devices on different accounts require contacts be created and those contacts be flagged as being ok for dropin.
