How I stopped my echo dot from the continuous blue spin

I just changed the USB cord.  Alexa is back! Hope this is the simple answer to the many blue rings of death out there.  :-)

Maybe you just seated the second cable better than the first.  Now try the first cable again once it is seated well on both ends.

Happy you fixed it. It's what I and others have suggested. When there's the blue circling ring, always check the USB power supply and the USB cable. And try to use the Amazon provided ones whenever possible. Or at least find a suitable replacement that is rated for the proper amperage and cable size.
