How do you resume a podcast in another room?

I frequently start playing a podcast in one room and then want to continue listening where I left off in another. I have tried every command I can think of but nothing works. It can only start playing from the beginning which is really annoying. What am I missing? thanks

I don't listen to podcasts, but if you haven't seen this it may have answers.  I didn't read it in detail.
