Echo and Fire Tv Stick

Not sure if this is a Echo problem or a Fire Tv Stick problem.
Early this morning at about 3:00am, out of the blue, my Echo spoke up and said it was now connected to my Fire Tv Stick.
My wife and I WERE sleeping when this happened, no one else in the house. Now, when I turn on the Fire Tv Stick all the audio is sent to the echo. The TV is in the living room the echo is in the bedroom. Is there a setting somewhere that I can set for this to never happen?

UNPLUG both devices and let them sit for five minutes.  Plug em back in. Hopefully problem is gone when you turn them back on.If not come back here and we will try another idea, or you can take yer chances and contact Amazon support!
