Hearing impaired sound adjust on Echo 2?

Echo devices lack any tone control. Hopefully, Amazon will add that in sooner rather then later.
For many people with hyperacusis and other damaged inner ear and hearing, lowering the bass or treble or increasing parts of the audio spectrum with a basic equalizer, is essential to hear voice, audio, and enjoy music.
In the mean time, has anyone found a way around this important and so basic audio adjustment control that is missing on Echo devices?
When this missing but critical control is added on by Amazon, it really needs to be an EQ on the Alexa app which you can adjust by individual device…

I'm using the Android app with an Echo Dot. If I go to settings / device settings /audio control I can adjust bass, treble and midrange volumes to suit my hearing aids.
