hue lightstrip plus not supported

I had been in contact with amazon regarding why my echo wasnt finding a lightstrip plus connected via a version 1 bridge. It is the only light connected to the bridge.

the bottom line was they said its not supported.

I really am having a hard time with this assessment.

can anyone add their experience with this, did it work?

I just rediscovered my devices on the Echo and my lightstrip plus finally showed up. There must have been an update. Give it another try and hopefully you'll be happy!
