2 Dots, only 1 turns switch off
« on: December 06, 2017, 01:03:27 pm »
I have two Echo Dots, one at each end of the house.  I have several switches grouped to operate Christmas candles.  Both dots turn on all 4 switches.  Turning them all off is the problem, one dot turns all 4 off, but the second dot only turns off 3 switches.....it always leaves the same switch on.

Thoughts?

Just a hunch... Ask the questionable dot to discover devices... then after done, see if that helps... Not sure and really don't have any reason to *believe* this will work... but hey... glitches happen and maybe this stops your issue...

strange problem.  could be timing out by the time it gets to the fourth device.  for a test, try moving it closer to the router or move the dot closer to the router.
