look like amazon is starting to charge subscription fees for some skills.

could this be the start of things to come.  once they get everyone addicted to alexa, could there be more and more subscriptions charged for various services????  with all the data they are collecting from users you think it would be enough.  I mean they even know when you use the restroom based on names used for smartbulbs.

i saw that too. On the flip side, with a financial incentive maybe companies will invest in better quality skills etc?

I didn't know there were fee based skills until I read the Engadget article that Prime members don't have to pay for some
of the Premium skills.
