My Echo is activating an alarm every weekday morning at 5:58 a.m.; I do not have any alarms or reminders set whatsoever.

If this is what your Alexa app shows, unplug your Echo for 5 minutes.  Afterwards your issue should be resolved.  If not, then...

go into the echos history and see what is triggering it.
