Echo Dot Mobile

I have two new Echo Dots - both already registered to my account but not set up yet. I want to use one on the car with my hotspot. Is there any reason I should set it up in the house on my wifi before setting it up in the car on the hotspot?

No, not really. Set the home Dot up first, get the procedure down, and then unplug it temporarily to set the other Dot for car; which could also be done in house using the hotspot signal of phone.

Thanks for the reply. That's what I thought but wanted a second opinion.

BTW, these are not my first Dots; I already have 4 set up in the house. Damn Amazon and their "Buy 3 get $20 off" promo!

Could be worse- I caught the "Buy 5, get one free!" deal last fall! I also use one in the car, but only for long trips. It's a great convenience.
