Echo sales figures?

Has Amazon released any sales figures for the Echo?
I'd be interested to find how many units they've sold, organized by month/year. And whether sales are going up, down, or flat.

If reviews at AMZ are any indicator, that number was over 22,000 two weeks ago, and a lot of people have not/will not post a review so perhaps that sales number is pretty high.

I really doubt AMZ is going to release sales numbers any time soon -- if ever.

BTW, thanks for this website.  It will help a lot of people.

Kind of off topic, but I took a few days vacation this week and went to a beach house my inlaw's rented and this morning while drinking my coffee, I saw a commercial for Echo. My first thought was "Oh wow, they are already marketing this on TV? I don't remember seeing any Amazon FireTV commercials"

The cemmercials are driving us crazy.  Our echo hears it and starts playing music.  Took a whi k e to figure it out.

Problem easy to resolve:  move your Echo away from TV Speaker!
