Another question re playing music
« on: March 15, 2017, 12:52:16 pm »
Hi all. I've tried searching but haven't found my issue discussed.

Echo dot is connecting fine to the Internet,  answering questions, connecting via Bluetooth and connecting to Hue etc.

I have music in Amazon Music but Alexa will say "sorry, you have no music in your library". In the Alexa app in the Music and Books section- Amazon music- when I try and tap on playlist or artists etc it reads 'Error getting Amazon Music playlist/artists etc information. Please try again later'. This happens on multiple devices which are all authorised.

I definitely have music in the Amazon music library that plays fine through the app itself. I've tried a reset of the Dot with no change.

Aby advice please?

Thanks in advance.

Jez

Do you have other family members who also have an account, try saying 'Alexa switch accounts'. My daughter has music but I don't so we have to switch to hers in order to play it.
