Echo dot portability

Echo dot portability

Got a Echo dot for Christmas. Good gift but in this age of portability it does not have a battery and the power is very limited. I would have thought the battery thing important and the power both to the speaker and output. Impressive device but needs portability

There is one now - got mine a few days ago and it lasts around 7 hours. There's one for the Echo too and I've been using that for a while now. I'm very pleased with both.

You need to research the Echo family of products.  There has been a portable version called the Tap that has much better sound than Dot, is stereo and a built-in battery.  Duh.

Depends where you are - no Taps in the UK.

Ok, fair enough as I do pay tax. Free at the point of delivery and not dependent on insurance or ability to pay. Nobody gets a bill.
