J20 on the Echo motherboard
« on: July 27, 2015, 11:56:38 pm »
Has anyone figured out the pins of J20 on the Echo's motherboard? Since the PCB is obviously multilayered, tracing it without destroying it seems like a long shot. And I really love my Echo, so I would rather not destroy it!  :D

It seems the 4 larger pads on the outside of J20 are grounds, and I'm assuming the others are related to the JTAG (at least that is my hope).

I still don't have this pin'd out yet, but the pattern (and this link http://www.molex.com/molex/products/datasheet.jsp?part=active/0525593652_FFC_FPC_CONNECTORS.xml) makes me think it is a ZIF connector for some unknown flex circuit connector like J21 and J22. This makes me think less of a JTAG interface and more of a future or dismissed product enhancement.
