It turns out that the problem is Pandora, not Echo. Echo simply wants to add the #1 "hit" or recommendation that Pandora makes from the requested artist. During the holiday season, the top recommendation if you ask for Carpenters is Carpenters (Holiday). Forward your complaint to Pandora, not Amazon. I spent over 45 minutes on the phone with Amazon support. They were very patient and had me reset my app on my phone and factory reset the device to eliminate caching as the issue, but it was not their bug or problem.
