Playing Music in a Routine

please forgive me if this has been covered before i have searched and came up blank.

i was wondering if it was possible to have Alexa play a certain playlist from my amazon music or my Laptop (which is paired with alexa) when i run a routine? in short i have a routine called Chill Time when activated it turns of the tv, dims the lights to 50% and changes the lights to designated color,

what i am trying to do is also have it play a playlist from my amazon music i created or play a playlist from my connected laptop automatically, firstly can it be done and secondly how lol,

i have alexa (of course) smartthings home hub, harmony hub, hue bridge, and have yonomi skills activated ( dont quite understand yonomi at the moment)

any help would be very grateful

thanks

I wrote an app for the Mac that simplifies this, but you can set up a local http server on your laptop, and tie it to running scripts to do what you want.

SmartThings is capable of sending http requests to local devices, so a php script on the server could execute a script on your laptop depending on what params are passed.

Take a look at EventGhost. While I have not used it, I know of others that have with SmartThings.

Do a search for it in the SmartThings community.
