Constantly disconnecting

I have had our Echo for about a year and a half.  I set it up using my iphone.  It constantly disconnects from our wireless.  Would it help to assign it an IP address from our router?  We are using a number of devices on our wireless (iphones, ipads, computers).  HELP!

I have already tried resetting it a number of times.  Initially, we thought it was my husband's bluetooth from phone interfering with the signal, but we have turned off his bluetooth, reset it up, and it continues to be an issue.  The blue light just goes round and round and after about 30 seconds she says, "having problems connecting."

Are you connecting on a 2.4 GHz channel, or a 5 GHz one?  How far is your Echo from your router?  How many walls are between the two (if any)?  Have you added any other RF devices to your home lately that could be causing interference?
