is the logitech harmony hub skill already enabled in uk?
-
Yes it is but it's pretty crap, 2 stars average... pretty much like the ECHO and all that goes with it in the UK, not quite true, that should be 1 star.
Hope that helps

can you explane why its crapy?
-
Also looking at the feedback to confirm, it just doesn't understand 99% of the commands, eg, tell harmony to turn on the heating, I didn't find an activity or favourite channel called eatery... etc etc etc..
Might work in US but pretty much in the bin here, sorry Garbage.. you cant voice train in the UK either so you are stuck with what you get, but we are used to that, so it could be the British accent who knows, clearly Amazon don't care.
Cheers

so should I stick with my US profile at present and NOT switch to UK ?
-
Well I've seen people switch from US to UK, you need a UK Amazon account, I believe you need to phone them to disable the US one then go through the normal setup as for a new one in the UK, believe it needs to be on a European server so cant be done from the US.
If your in the UK already then all your time zones will be all over the place, it works apparently but with some problems.
So I guess you have to trade off US with possible problems or UK with rubbish Logitech... mind it might like your voice if you are American...
Cheers

the reason I ask, is I was Gifted a US Amazon Echo from the US, and the only way it could be made to work in the UK, as to change my UK profile to US profile, to get it setup.
It now works as far as I can see, I have UK time zone, which can be set, my Location seems to be an issue, and I probably cannot purchase stuff from Amazon, but not to botherered about that, as Echo for me, is about Home Automation.
Amazon Customer support, are waiting for me to let them know, and they'll switch me from US to UK....
they claim for a better UK Experience....
But I have read, US Echos are a poor relation to UK Echos....
