Mutiport audio switch
« on: March 16, 2018, 11:38:22 am »
Been looking for a switch (of sorts) that will allow me to connect the 3.5mm audio from my echo dot (input) to the switch , then have both 3.5mm and RCA outputs to split the audio from the dot to a sound bar (to which it is currently connected, and to a pair of speakers located outside on my deck. Ideally the switch would have toggle switch's the would allow for me to direct the audio to either the sound bar, the speakers or both at the same time. I have been looking for quite awhile and have only been able to find  audio converts with optical TOSLINK, RCA and HDMI outputs, but no 3.5mm outputs. Anyone know of, or have run across anything like what I'm looking for?

If this is the wrong forum for this, please let me know. Otherwise any assistance would be welcomed.

If you can't find the switch you want, there are other options:
The simplest: buy a 2nd dot. Other option: get a bt adapter for both speakers.
