Title: IFTTT and AutoRemote

Any of you who are familiar with the Joaoapps know how powerful they can be. I've been utilizing them for years; they are mostly plugins for Tasker which runs on most any android device.

So there is AutoRemote. It allows remote inputs to act on events on your local network. I am now using it to voice-control my audio system via Alexa. Bottom line is that if a device in your home is network-controllable, you can likely control it using Alexa via these tools. Takes a bit of work, but it's worth the trouble.
