Title: Cortana On my Android Phone
Post by: tuicemen on December 21, 2017, 04:45:48 pm
Yep did it. Now I have Google Alexa and Cortana competing for my voice (http://tuicemen.com/forum/Smileys/default/roflol.gif)
Actually I did it to compare and to see if the Home automation option was there, as they have a beta tester version as well which I signed up for.
Sadly I still don't get this in Canada with the Cortana app. :(
I do prefer Cortanas voice over the others. ;)

There's an app on playstore or something? How did you install it? LOL. I only have GA on my phone. How'd you get Alexa in your phone too?

They are at the Google play store
For Cortana:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.microsoft.cortana

For Alexa I believe this is the link:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.willblaschko.android.alexalistens
Alexa listens will show up in your Alexa app as an Alexa device ;)

Oh, OK. I would rather just use AI on their built in devices. Once again off topic but this is actually the guy that hacked windows CE GPS way back when so he is Russian? Didn't know it, LOL.

I don't know if any of that shows the iphone skin. I tried it but deleted it. I feel really cool back then with my GPS turned pocket PC basically. I actually remember watching Michael Jackson's funeral live on CNN on my 3.5 in. GPS screen. LOL.
