I frequently listen to the radio but the broadcast is frequently interrupted with public service announcements and advertisements.  Is there anyway to turn them off?

Do they offer a pay version of the "radio" you listen to? Spotify or Tunein or what have you? Pandora has a few Ads and such as well... for free version of it I don't mind... but if I were paying for it, I'd be upset. Check with the "service" you are using to see if there is a version you can pay for that will eliminate or at least limit the Ads and such.

No way around it. That's why people pay for them. I don't. I just change the channel.

I mean they do need to make money. So you either pay them monthly or deal with ads.

Such is capitalism.
