Hi
This is my first post...I was given an Amazon Echo first generation and wanted to start using it to receive Bluetooth music from my computer.Is this possible?..if so how do i go about this?.Also is there a user manual download or a paper user manual I can acquire.

There are plenty of books on amazon echo out there, however these are always somewhat out of date as amazon keeps adding and changing the app, so those books will give you an idea but are not that helpful IMO. Any user manual written in the era of the original echo would really be totally out of date by now.

Aside from just using it as a BT speaker, you could also set up a plex server on your computer which would allow you to ask your echo to play music instead of using the pc as the controlling device. This would be music over wifi instead of BT, and would require your pc to be on. Depends on your usercase if this is more useful, but it more in line with what the echo is made for.

Plex Server?...is there a safe downloadable software for this?..am always weiry of downloading anything from the web

If you cannot google and find plex.tv, relevant forum threads on here, and user reviews on plex yourself, then you are definitely going to get stuck on installing and configuring the server... So, never mind  ;)

When i ask Alexa to play a track she is informing me that she cannot connect to my wi fi setup?

Got it up an running via wi fi ,managed it with the free echo app .How do I go about getting Alexa to find my music library on my pc?.I did ask although she replied that she cannot find my music library.Have I to create a separate music library through the app?
