Alexa and background volume

Hi when Alexa replies or acknowledges me she is not turning the background music volume down so I cannot hear the answer. My dot is still doing this but the larger echo has stopped doing it. How can I turn it back on?

I'm having the same issue. Does anyone know how to fix this? She used to turn the music volume down when she responded.

Haven't tried that before. When I listen to music I have it on max and she can't hear me even if I scream at 'her face' as loud as I can. I always manually lower the volume and even then she still can't hear me even if I'm screaming. Ugh.
